Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am” (John 8:58). Before Abraham existed, Jesus was already in the everlasting present tense. It was during this time and even before time that the events which shaped all times occurred. The Bible’s records of these events provide a foundation for building an understanding of the world that is both true and satisfying.
