About A Bible Study Focused on Fasting: During a study of the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew, author N. A. Rogers noticed that fasting was not discussed with the same background and interest as the other topics from Jesus’s teachings. It seemed a study that looked at Bible scriptures on fasting might be beneficial.
