Walking by Faith (Faith Builder Series, 7:1)
A Study of How Faith Works in Our Daily Lives
We know that faith plays an important part in one becoming a Christian. The apostle Paul writes, “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Cor. 5:7). In the New Testament, the word “walk” is often used to refer to the way we live our daily life. One of the greatest challenges for the Christian is learning how to live in the presence of spiritual realities he cannot see, while being surrounded by a physical world given over to sin, error and unbelief. It is a great challenge, but it can be done.
The lessons in this workbook are character studies of men and women who show us how to “walk by faith.” Many of these people were called upon to face challenges much greater than we will ever face, but they overcame these challenges through their faith. From their example we will learn the role faith is to play in our daily lives; that is, we will learn how to “walk by faith.”
Written at a 7th grade level. Contains 13 lessons, each with discussion questions.
This workbook is part of the Faith Builder Series, a 4-year course of study for middle school students. The series focuses on a survey of both the Old & New Testaments, becoming a Christian and living a faithful life.
