The Open Bible Study was written by Ivan Stewart and revised by Roger Shepherd. This system made it possible for any Christian to teach the good news to their family, friends, neighbors, and any others who would listen. The Open Bible Study provided help to those who desired to win souls for the kingdom. The Open Bible Study consists of five pamphlets (Introduction, three lessons, and a worksheet). These pamphlets help guide the face to face study. These pamphlets allow the soul winner and the student to stay on track during the study. The use of these pamphlets also facilitates the study in the event someone needs to continue the Bible study without the original teacher.
