The "layman's commentary" is thoroughly prepared with the dedication of a research scholar. It is presented in the easy flowing style of a good Bible School teacher. It combines the standard scholarship of the ages with original, pointed comments at points of special need. In an age where light is needed in certain areas, James Burton Coffman strives to shed light in those areas. It answers questions that Bible students are asking today.
