Most members of the Lord’s church have experienced division within the church to some degree. On one side, division brings unpleasantness to each individual involved and their relationship with other Christians. On the other side, division affects one’s relationship to God. 

God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit maintain unity (oneness). They desire this unity with each believer and for this unity among believers. And, as is demonstrated by God, unity can be achieved and maintained.
