Garden Ponderings
It began while I was pulling weeds around some plants in my garden. I pulled up a plant with the weed. I put the plant back into the dirt and covered its roots. I couldn’t help but think of the tares in Matthew chapter 13. As my mind kept thinking about this, I decided to write down a little story about it. I had previously seen people post their religious thoughts on Facebook (and some were misleading), so I decided to do the same, only using scripture to back it up.
After posting the first one, I received so many positive responses that I did a couple more. It seemed that everything I did or noticed in the garden made me think of scripture. From the weeds to birds and bees, from planting the wrong seed to me falling down, from rain to sunshine, my thoughts went to Scripture.
