Drawing Nearer to God

James says, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8). In these words, one finds a great promise from God—a promise with amazing blessings. God does not need one to get physically closer to Him. God is seeking a relationship with each one. How is your relationship with God? Are you drawing nearer to Him?

In this study, Cynthia Lanius guides students through topics which will help them meet their part of drawing nearer to God. Each of the thirteen lessons contains readings and questions to be answered before class. After discussing the lesson material, complete the application section with each lesson.

God's attributes make Him wonderful to be near. Being near Him brings out the best in us. It is a great honor and a privilege to be near God because of His status. By Drawing Nearer to God we will learn to be like Him.
