Why Believe the Bible?

There are indisputable facts about the Bible that we are faced with. It is the oldest, most widespread book of antiquity on the face of the earth. It has the distinction of being the very first book printed on a press. No other ancient book of any kind even comes close to the number of copies, versions, and translations we have available to us in the Bible. No book has been translated into more languages and dialects than the Bible. The last count this author saw from the American Bible Society was over 1,884 languages. Some estimates double that.

In addition to these outward distinctions there are a number of unique characteristics that are interesting when taken individually, but when compiled together, demonstrate indisputably that this book is like no other. It is truly the revelation of God.
