The time is long past when followers of Jesus Christ should have taken seriously the great threat to the spread of Christianity which is posed by the growth of skepticism in general and of atheism and agnosticism in particular. The rejection of the crucial role of valid reasoning in connection with the explicit teaching of the Bible is one of the most serious problems facing religion.
