A Study of His Characteristics and How We Can Make Them Our Own

Do you desire to know and follow Jesus in a deeper way?
According to the word of God, it is our purpose in life. “For you have been
called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving
you an example for you to follow in His steps” (1 Pet. 2:21). What
a joyous approach to life – striving to be more like Jesus.

From a search of the scriptures, including many Old Testament prophecies, we identified characteristics of Jesus and in each lesson, we first examine how Jesus demonstrates the attribute, then we study how to make each our own.

There are 51 attributes and actions of Jesus described and in each lesson we are encouraged to make them our own. They are arranged in alphabetical order so that a topic will be easier to find. You can go through the book in order or you may want to look through the list and go first to ones that seem more compelling, more helpful or more needed. Also included with most lessons are hymns that inspire.
